Voice of Clay pottery is an expressive clay company dedicated
to increasing conscious living. We create functional pieces
using vibrant glazes evocative of water and air, expressive
of a seaside palette in soft shades of blue, seafoam and
lavender all blended into a misty gradient. Sprinkled
with stars, this design reflects a simpler more conscious
lifestyle. When finished, each piece is accompanied with
a small message. These messages are an interpretation
of the nature of the energy within each form. The label
on the cup for instance is "Nurturer, Improve Health,
Invite Warmth and Comfort." |

The
mission of the message is to indicate something beyond beauty
and function. Each piece has a life of it's own, a specific
energy. The nature and energy of clay have inspired the creation
of these pots.
The
Voice of Clay has grown from a willingness to accept that
all things vibrate with energy and hold an inner message!
It is vitally important to be aware, to stop and to listen.
The interpretation of each form empowers the voice within
clay. Hold this awareness as you hold the pots and you will
attract positve energies into your life!
Wendy
Walter, founder of The Voice Of Clay, began a dialogue with
clay in 1981. She is the daughter of Judy and David Walter,
creators of Pickity Place, an earth honoring business in Mason,
NH. A significant part of her education was in Waldorf Schools,
which, based on the philosophy of Rudolf Steiner, educate
body, mind and spirit. From these strong roots, Wendy's work
has grown and blossomed into a business dedicated to the greater
good of all life on planet Earth.
Walter is a member of the Dream Change Coalition, a world
wide grassroots movement dedicated to encouraging sustainable
lifestyles for the individual and the global community (http://www.dreamchange.org/), as well as Whole Earth
Resource Community: healers and artists of life committed
to creating solutions in the new millennium.
