Embrace the therapeutic nature of this pottery class as you dive into a new skill and unleash your creativity. Leave any apprehensions at the door as our experienced instructors guide you through the process with patience and encouragement. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience, this workshop is designed to help you relax and enjoy the artistry of working with clay.
At the workshop, you will be using high-quality materials and tools to bring your pottery visions to life. Feel the joy of working with clay as you shape and mold it into one-of-a-kind pieces. Discover the art of glazing and learn how to enhance your creations with color, if you’d like to explore this additional activity.
Experience the satisfaction of creating something with your own hands as you take home your fired and glazed pottery. Revisit your masterpiece one month after the class as you collect your fully finished pieces, ready to be displayed or gifted to loved ones. Unleash your inner artist and enjoy the meditative, rewarding process of pottery-making in this enriching class.
We do not allow beverages or snacks in the studio except water bottles.
Long fingernails are hard to work with because they cut into the clay. We recommend you trim them before coming. Long hair is best tied up. Rings, watches, and bracelets will all get dirty, so please leave them at home. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, including shoes!
Each pottery class is geared toward the experience of clay, and the truth is that when working with clay, sometimes pots break. There is no guarantee that a pot will survive the firing process, much less handling to and from the kiln or even glazing. If your pot gets broken, you will receive a credit of $10. You will not be offered another class free of charge.
When registering, keep in mind that each participant needs to be registered (even though 2 people work on the wheel together). A party of 2 is $60pp or $120. A party of 3 is $180, etc.
Register for a glazing class as well, to add color to your piece. See the registration link below.
Included in class:
1 apron to borrow
1 piece per person
Pottery Tools to use (not to keep, just for class)
A fun experience!
